Economic impact

Serves as Managing Director of the Liberia International Ship and Corporate Registry (LISCR), the entity managing Liberia's open ship registry under a long-term concession agreement with the Government of Liberia. The Liberian ship registry is among the two largest flag-state registries in the world by gross tonnage: as of 2025, it comprised approximately 4,500 active vessels representing roughly 15 to 17 percent of global commercial shipping tonnage, per LISCR published data and Lloyd's List fleet statistics. Annual maritime registry revenues remitted to the Liberian government have been publicly estimated at between US$15 million and US$25 million, constituting one of the government's principal recurring non-tax revenue streams. Also co-founded early telecommunications infrastructure ventures in Monrovia during the 1990s.
