Economic impact
Co-founded West Oil and Conex Petroleum Group in Monrovia in 2005. Conex built a petroleum storage terminal in Monrovia with a capacity of 50,000 metric tonnes and acquired the West African downstream assets of TotalEnergies in Liberia and Sierra Leone in 2021, creating one of the largest indigenous petroleum marketing companies in the region, per Conex corporate press releases. The acquisition expanded the retail network to more than 60 service stations across Liberia.
