Economic impact
Served as President of Coca-Cola Africa and Executive Vice President of The Coca-Cola Company from 2001 to 2008, overseeing operations across 55 African countries. During that tenure, Coca-Cola Africa expanded bottling partnerships and distribution networks in sub-Saharan markets with combined annual revenues across the continent of several billion U.S. dollars, per Coca-Cola Company annual reports (2001 to 2008). Founded the Cummings Africa Foundation to support education, health, and enterprise development in Liberia.
