Economic impact
Co-founded Hubtel Limited (originally SMSGH) in Accra in 2005. Under his leadership as Chief Executive Officer, the company grew into one of Ghana's largest indigenous fintech and messaging platforms; by 2024, Hubtel processed more than 100 million transactions annually for utility companies, retailers, and mobile money users, per company operational summaries. The platform supports over 80,000 active retail merchants and employs 250 software developers and support staff across its regional offices.
