Economic impact
Founded SAS Finance Group in 1995, a Ghanaian investment holding company with positions in banking, insurance, and real estate. Co-founded Sunon Asogli Power (Ghana) Limited with China's Shenzhen Energy Group in 2007; the Tema thermal plant achieved a licensed capacity of 200 MW and has supplied between 8 and 12 percent of Ghana's national grid capacity since 2010, per Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo) quarterly dispatch records. Co-founded Africa World Airlines in 2010, which recorded 1,420 scheduled departures from Kotoka International Airport in 2024, per Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) filings. Has served as Paramount Chief (Agbogbomefia) of the Asogli Traditional Area since 2003.
