Economic impact
Founded the McDan Group of Companies in Accra, a conglomerate whose subsidiaries operate across aviation services, port operations, and commercial real estate. McDan Aviation Services established Ghana's first private fixed-base operator (FBO) for executive and charter aviation at Kotoka International Airport, operating the General Aviation Terminal (GAT). The group's port subsidiary secured a concession to develop and operate a container terminal at the Port of Tema; the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority designated the terminal's handling capacity at 1.2 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) per year. McKorley was appointed a member of the Ghana Economic Advisory Council in 2017 by President Nana Akufo-Addo.
