Economic impact
Founded the Jospong Group of Companies, an Accra-based conglomerate that by 2024 comprised over 60 subsidiaries across waste management, logistics, ICT, and industrial manufacturing. Established Zoomlion Ghana Limited in 2006 as the group's flagship waste-management subsidiary; as of 2023, Zoomlion operates in all 16 regions of Ghana and employs approximately 85,000 workers and subcontractors, per Jospong Group's published operational data. Zoomlion's composting and recycling plants process an estimated 3,000 metric tonnes of solid waste per day across multiple treatment facilities. Expanded the group's industrial footprint through the acquisition and local assembly of road-construction and waste-processing equipment under the Jospong-XCMG joint venture.
